HR Manager

For our client, a global industrial player, we are actively looking for an HR Manager Belgium.

Over the years, the company has grown thanks to acquisitions and is therefore looking for an HR Manager supporting the long term strategic growth.

Your job

 

  • Thanks to your HR Management, you will be responsible for obtaining the company’s objective of increasing proactivity and competitiveness within the organisation.
  • You will be responsible for setting up a uniform HR policy in terms of HR procedures, onboarding process, employment contracts…
  • Your objective will be to embody a stable HR department and to become a Business Partner for the Management as well as a trustworthy partner for the group of 150 employees.
  • You will manage 1 direct report in charge of all payroll activities together with the social partner.
  • From a soft HR point of view you will translate business needs into clear HR action plans and objectives. This for example in terms of promoting organic growth throughout a well defined and tailor made talent development program.
  • You will be in the driver’s seat for keeping the Works Council relations transparent and constructive.
  • You will be part of the Management team working closely together with the Country Manager Benelux and the HR Director North West Europe.

Your profile

  • You obtained a Master degree or equivalent by experience
  • You have a solid (10-15 years) and generalist HR experience (Belgian social law, talent management, recruitment, onboarding process…) within industrial organizations
  • You are perfect trilingual: Dutch, French and English
  • You like to work in mixed environments
  • Next to the general HR experience, you are experienced in the domain of works council
  • You are a ‘change manager’, able to align different internal stakeholders
  • You are flexible and able to work in a matrix organization
  • You have a strategic helicopter view which allows you to think long term
  • You combine this skill with a pragmatic, ‘can do’ approach in your day to day responsibilities and this in order to further professionalize the company
  • You are ready to consolidate your experience built up over the years and offer a strong,long term commitment to the company
