For our client Lotus Bakeries, a fast-growing international FMCG company and one of Belgium’s most appealing companies, we are currently looking for a Group Reporting Manager (FP&A).

The position
As Group Reporting Manager, you will support the Reporting & Consolidation Director with the preparation of financial information and high quality deliverables on many aspects of finance including development of the managerial P&L, budgets and forecasts, strategic plans, performance evaluation, and driving the business to deliver initiatives.

Your tasks and responsibilities
The job content of the Group Reporting Manager will include (non-exhaustive):

  • Manage and coach one Group Reporting Analyst;
  • Support forecast, budget and strategic planning process within the Group;
  • Define the templates for the reports to be produced, create proposals for layout changes;
  • Collect tables for various reports and data deliveries or extracts from BI or the consolidation tool;
  • Provide support to the Reporting & Consolidation Director, the Group CFO, EXCO and other stakeholders by providing management information;
  • Prepare reporting decks for EXCO, Board of Directors and investor relations, including both financial data as non-financial data (ESG);
  • Coordinate stakeholder relations;
  • Participate actively in the development and maintenance of a framework for the collection of management information in order to produce correct, complete and timely management reports;
  • Adapt the text of the reports to align them with the quantified content as well as with non-quantified developments;
  • Identify proactively opportunities to improve the format or content of management reports and discuss them with stakeholders;
  • Be responsible for the continuous improvement of the reports produced and stay in constant contact with their end users in order to maximise their use;
  • Participate in project teams to modify or create reports;
  • Review with colleagues the impact of a change in Group process and systems;
  • Handle ad hoc issues and questions;
  • Participate in meetings with auditors on financial statements content and be responsible for resolving issues raised by the auditors.

Your profile

  • You hold a Master degree in Applied Economics or Business Engineering;
  • You have relevant experience of at least 7 years as Reporting Manager, FP&A Analyst, Group Controller or External Auditor;
  • You have a solid knowledge of reporting, consolidation and IFRS.
  • You have a thorough knowledge of SAP FI/CO and are accustomed with consolidation and BI-tools;
  • You have a very good knowledge of Excel, and an interest in digital tools/evolution/data analysis;
  • You are able to take on your tasks independently and proactively and to set your priorities;
  • You have a sharp analytical mind and are able to solve problems;
  • You work in an accurate and methodical manner;
  • You have good communication skills;
  • You are fluent in English, fluency in Dutch and/or French is nice to have.
