Our client is an independent watchmaker, founded and located in Antwerp, with clients all over the world. The brand represents a groundbreaking vision within the world of luxury watches. At its core is a fusion of innovation and minimalism, redefining traditional watchmaking with avant-garde flair. Instead of conventional status symbols, our client opts for discreet elegance, eschewing ostentatious branding in favor of a refined focus on functionality and ingenuity.

The Brand Development Manager brings the brand to the forefront and translate the brand values into effective actions. This is someone who thinks commercially and sees opportunities. They establish collaborations and partnerships and are responsible for external communication (B2C). In this role, they work closely with the Brand & Art Director and the Sales Director.


  • Brand Development and Positioning: Actively develop and position the brand in the B2C market, aiming to increase visibility and enhance communication.
  • Media and Public Relations: Maintain relationships with the press and other key stakeholders to ensure the brand’s presence in relevant media.
  • Marketing Strategies and Campaigns: Create and implement innovative marketing strategies and campaigns, including collaborations and partnerships.
  • Events and Networking: Regularly attend trade shows and networking events to promote the brand and identify new business opportunities.
  • Digital Presence: Oversee the development and management of digital platforms such as the company’s website and social media, focusing on optimizing customer engagement.


  • Education: The Brand Development Manager preferably has a background in economics, marketing, and/or brand development.
  • Experience: You have experience in the high-end segment. You know this world and feel comfortable in it. You have experience in developing a brand for the end consumer and aligning communication and branding accordingly.
  • Commercial Sensitivity: Strong commercial insight with the ability to recognize and exploit new business opportunities.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adept at maintaining relationships and negotiating.
  • Affinity with Technology and Aesthetics: Passion for both aesthetics and innovation.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in Dutch, English, and French.
  • Personal Presentation: Excellent sense of presentation and representation in a high-end environment.
  • Independence and Entrepreneurship: Ability to work independently and take initiative without constant supervision.
