Financial Process Manager (Purchase to Pay)

For our client, a key player in transport and sustainable mobility, we are currently looking for a Purchase to Pay (P2P) Manager / Financial Process Manager.

The role
In the context of further professionalization of the Finance Operations Department, our client wants to hire an experienced P2P Manager that will continue the development of the A/P team and will facilitate effective, efficient and well-controlled P2P processes, which need continuous improvement in order to maintain the highest level of efficiency.
TASKS AND DUTIES

  • Responsible to design and document all P2P processes and the necessary internal controls;
  • Design, drive and implement P2P efficiency process improvements;
  • Review, monitor and update P2P processes, procedures, manuals, flowcharts and projects;
  • Responsible for the entire centralized procurement to pay process in cooperation with Procurement & Cash Management (follow-up and manage DPO);
  • Perform month-end/year-end closing process and accurately reconcile P2P ledger accounts;
  • Ensure team’s accuracy and timeliness with regards to invoice processing;
  • Monitor closely the unbooked invoices, outstanding purchase orders and service receipts;
  • Maximize the number of electronic invoices to ensure automated invoice processing;
  • Maintain and establish excellent internal and external working relationships (Business, suppliers, auditors, etc);
  • Manage and motivate P2P team in the execution of their day-to-day activities and objectives;
  • Establish monthly P2P team meetings (incl 1-2-1 meetings);
  • Perform mid-year and year-end performance appraisal discussions with direct reports;
  • Support internal and external audit requests and remediate whenever necessary;
  • Monitor and refine P2P key performance indicators;
  • Ensure excellent support to business with execution of ad hoc requests (reports, KPI’s, …).

Your profile

  • You hold a Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting or Economics;
  • You have 5 to 7 years of experience in financial process management;
  • Concrete Purchase to Pay experience is a plus but not a must;
  • You have a first people management experience;
  • You have experience with ERP software, operational systems and MS Office;
  • You have a positive attitude, are motivated and committed;
  • You are process oriented and have good problem-solving skills;
  • You are flexible and possess good time-management skills;
  • You have good communication skills;
  • You are fluent in English. Fluency in Dutch and/or French is an asset.
