For a leading international producer of personal hygiene solutions, a Belgian successful company, we are looking for a Key Account Manager Retail and HealthCare.

 

The purpose of the KAM position is to manage the strategic development of the BeNeLux region in the Retail channel and the Healthcare B2B2C channel.

  • Retail: creating and implementing a well-defined strategy, as well as managing a portfolio of customers within this region.
  • Healthcare Self-Pay (B2B2C): developing a winning long-term sales strategy for the assigned customers by executing detailed customer & market assessments, identifying opportunities for growth and strengthening our market position. Your expertise will be vital in exploring new partnerships and expanding into “white space” areas.

 

The KAM will be in charge of:

 

  • Creating the strategy and goals for the customers in scope
  • Developing, implementing & following up the key account plans within the overall strategy for the business unit and group
  • Managing all aspects of the commercial negotiations, sales development and customer interface
  • Meeting customers regularly, preparing (materials for) customer meetings and communicating/following up next steps/actions in a structured and effective way
  • Deliver the sales and margin targets set by the annual budget
  • Aligning forecasting and forecast accuracy, in close collaboration with the demand manager
  • Analyzing sales and market data and using it effectively to develop (new) business
  • Managing market intelligence through store visits on a regular basis and communicate in a timely manner internally
  • Completion of customer specific documentation
  • Management of key projects and ensuring tasks are completed in a timely and effective manner

 

PROFILE

  • Minimum bachelor degree, master seen as an advantage
  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience in a B2B environment
  • Experience of dealing with customers at all levels of an organization
  • Experience in FMCG sector and/or in Retail is a must
  • Experience in the private label market is an asset
  • Language: fluent Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is an advantage.
  • Strong/proven negotiator & Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Analytical ability; able to crunch numbers and to think in a logical and strategic manner
  • PC literate; advanced Excel skills
  • Hands on attitude
