What is your role?
- You are part of the quality organization and report to the Quality Manager.
- In short:
- As Product Quality Engineer you play a crucial role in ensuring that customer and production quality requirements are met for new product developments.
- You define and validate test & inspection methods and equipment, evaluate process capability and lead RCAs.
- You will focus on applications for aerospace and industrial customers.
- You collaborate closely with other quality engineers, manufacturing, and appliciation development teams.
More specifically you have the following responsibilities:
- Review customer specifications and define critical quality parameters.
- Translate requirements into a testplan defining the required inspection methods and equipment.
- Draft work instructions for parts inspection and train Quality Control officers.
- Validate inspection methods and conduct Measurement System Analyses (MSA).
- Perform capability studies to assess the ability of the process to meet specifications.
- Lead root cause analyses and search for effective solutions within a multidisciplinary team to resolve issues.
- Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
- Support pre-sales activities and assist in the purchase, validation and calibration of new inspection equipment.

Who are you?
- You obtained a master’s degree in engineering
- You have minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a high regulated industry (e.g. aerospace, medical devices, automotive) within the Quality Department.
- Experience with product development is a plus.
- Good knowledge of statistical methods (MSA, Capability Studies) and tools (Minitab, JMP, …)
- Knowledge of inspection equipment and methods.
- Knowledge on GD&T, pFMEA and validation
- Familiarity with quality system standards (ie. ISO 17025, AS9100, ISO 13485) is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with a strong motivation to implement improvements.
- You are able both to work independently and to collaborate with different departments and people.
- Good organizational skills. Able to work under time pressure.
- Fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch
